The project

Blackbird Lane is an elegantly designed gated development of four family homes on Murray Road in Northwood, north-west London, accessed by a private drive. Each house was designed as somewhere to relax, unwind and entertain, with outstanding outdoor areas and beautifully landscaped gardens.

Blackbird Lane is one of nineteen projects we have designed for Luxgrove Homes, alongside Montpelier Mews, Ivy Gardens and The Rosemont.

The specification

The scheme runs light and warm: pale timber floors, panelled walls, brass and black metal, with charcoal used as the single deep note in the living room. The bathrooms take the opposite approach — dark green joinery and a patterned floor, so the smaller rooms have the strongest character.

Four houses on a private drive is a small, high-value scheme where buyers compare finishes closely. The specification was drawn to highlight that.
