This policy explains what personal data HDEY (Hdey Ltd) collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It's written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate — if anything is unclear, email us at hello@hdey.global.
HDEY is a trading name of Hdey Ltd, a branding studio based in London, UK. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
When you submit an enquiry or discovery-call request through a form on this site, we collect what you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, business name, website or social handle, and details about your project (brand stage, budget, timing, and any free-text answers). We only collect this when you choose to submit a form; we don't collect it just from browsing the site.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, discuss your project, and provide the services you've asked about. Our legal basis is legitimate interest (responding to enquiries you've initiated) and, where you've provided details beyond what's needed to reply, consent.
This site does not set any tracking cookies by default. If we enable optional analytics or advertising tools (Google Analytics and/or Meta Pixel), they only load after you actively accept cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. If you reject or ignore the banner, none of these tools run, and the site works exactly the same either way. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site and reloading.
Google Analytics, if enabled, helps us understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type) — it does not identify you personally.
Meta Pixel, if enabled, helps us measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns run through Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and may be used to show you relevant ads on those platforms.
We rely on a small number of external services to run this site and process enquiries:
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of our working relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards for our records. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, request a copy of it, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@hdey.global. Hdey Ltd is not currently registered with the ICO; if you have an unresolved concern about how we handle your data, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We may update this policy as the site or our tools change. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
