The project
Q Developments and Q Investments are two sides of one business: one develops, the other acquires and manages investment property in London and Manchester. Twenty-five years in, they wanted to relaunch the website.
The brief had two parts. Separate development and investment into their own chapters, so each could be read on its own terms. And celebrate twenty-five years of work, with the schemes given room to be shown properly as case studies.
Q Developments has been a long-standing client — we also delivered Alfold Gardens and Grand Union Row, both of which live inside this site.
Two chapters, one front door
The site opens on a single landing page marking the twenty-fifth anniversary, with the two businesses offered as a choice rather than a hierarchy. From there each has its own site, its own navigation and its own tone, with a persistent link back across the top so neither is a dead end.
Q Developments runs light, with the schemes carrying the pages. Q Investments runs dark, leading on the proposition. They are recognisably the same organisation, and they never have to share a page.
The schemes as case studies
Each development was given a full page rather than a card: a hero image, the location and the name, the scheme in a line, and then the awards and the architects credited underneath. Room for the photography, room for the detail, and a structure that holds whether a scheme is current or long completed.
The navigation was built around that — current and past kept separate, with design, construction, awards and land acquisition as their own sections, so a visitor can arrive for any one of them and find it.
This project was delivered under the Ademchic brand.
