Beautiful living is not just an aesthetic

Set along the peaceful Grand Union Canal on Harewood Terrace, in the west London neighbourhood of Norwood Green, Grand Union Row is an ideal residence for those seeking an urban retreat that seamlessly blends nature, culture and accessibility. Just under an hour from central London, these exclusive new homes have superb transport links from Zone 4 right into the city centre.

Rather than a separate microsite, Grand Union Row was given its own home inside the Q Developments website we had already designed and built.

Grand Union Row was our third project with Q Developments, following Alfold Gardens and the relaunch of their website.

The identity

GRAND UNION is set in a fine, high-contrast serif with looping terminals, broken over three lines with ROW turned on its side at the foot. It is printed in burnt orange on a pale warm grey, and the letterforms carry the scheme on their own.

A single quarter-circle arc in the same orange runs off the corner of the spreads, and the location map is drawn in orange line work with the canal picked out in blue. Section titles take the display serif; everything else stays small and quiet. The identity, the brochure and the CGIs were developed alongside the interior concept.
