The project
Kasia House is a contemporary collection of 40 studio, one and two-bedroom apartments with parking, on Chilsey Green Road in Chertsey, for Kings Oak Capital. Each apartment has a unique layout, and several also carry a study or private outdoor space.
Forty apartments with forty different plans is the opposite of a repeated floor plate, and it is what the whole job had to accommodate. We optimised the layouts first, then developed the interior concept and specification, and produced everything needed to market it: branding, copy, brochure, website, hoarding, internal CGIs and the show home.
Kasia House is one of several projects for Kings Oak Capital, alongside Kavanagh Place, Keslake Place and the Kings Oak rebrand itself.
The identity
KASIA HOUSE is set in a fine spaced serif with a cut A, in cream on an olive green. The supporting device is a line-drawn geometric pattern of arcs and rules, part of the brand rather than an addition to it: it runs across the brochure covers and then into the building itself, wrapping the wall of the entrance hallway.
The interiors
The apartment scheme is warm and pale — oak floors, white walls, olive green used as a half-height band that ties back to the identity, and terracotta as the accent. It photographs and renders well at small sizes, which matters when a studio has to look generous in a CGI.
The marketing suite and show home were designed to the same specification, so a buyer walking in from the hoarding met the thing the hoarding had promised.
Brochure and website
The brochure runs the geometric pattern across the covers and gives the architecture a full spread before the apartments. The website was designed mobile-first.
This project was delivered under the Ademchic brand.
