The project
East Finchley station is a short walk away, and the whole argument sits on the plan and the finish.
Making a studio live larger
The plans were worked so that each function has a place rather than a corner: sleeping raised away from living, joinery run full height to take the storage a studio has nowhere else to put, and the circulation kept to one line so the floor is not divided by the route through it.
The brochure explains it with a cutaway of the whole section rather than a floor plan — the clearest way to show a buyer how a split-level studio works when a two-dimensional drawing makes it look like one room.
The CGIs were drawn from the optimised plans at eye level.
The identity
The mark sets Church Lane in a fine serif inside a broken circle, with Studios curved along the bottom of it. It reads as a stamp rather than a logotype.
The palette is a soft sage against white, carried across the brochure, the hoarding and the website. We envisaged the brochure bound with a belly band, so the cover carries the mark and little else.
This project was delivered under the Ademchic brand.
