The project
Four substantial detached houses with double garages, set back from the road behind a private drive in West End, near Chobham. Built by Fleet Homes, a developer who specialise in small bespoke projects and are unusually serious about materials.
Every home was reserved before practical completion. It was the first Fleet Homes scheme to do it.
The interiors
The brief was a mix of period and modern — characterful houses, built to a modern standard. Sash windows, herringbone floors, panelled walls and geometric porcelain against bifold doors, roof lanterns and open plan.
Colour does the heavy lifting and does it quietly: deep blue-grey Shaker kitchens with hand-painted units and marble, sage in one house where another has navy, a blue panelled headboard wall in the principal bedroom. Brass throughout, against white and stone.
Layouts were optimised first, then specified in full — detail kitchen and bathroom plans, joinery, fittings and lighting, including the pantry units and the boot-room utility.
The details are not the details
Fleet Homes describe the vision for Brompton Gardens as underpinned by thousands of small decisions.
Drawn, then built
The photographs below are the finished houses. Set them against the CGIs above and the specification holds: the hand-painted Shaker units, the stone worktops with full-height upstands, the brass, the Belfast sinks, the pantry run.
Buyers reserved off the brochure — the first time Fleet Homes sold off plan on our marketing material.
The film
The identity
A quiet wordmark for a quiet scheme: wide-set capitals, hairline rules either side of GARDENS, the postcode set small underneath so the name and the place arrive together. Deep green and cream.
Four houses on a private drive need marketing collateral that signals care and puts the specification and the photography in front of the buyer.
Results
Every home reserved before practical completion — a first for Fleet Homes.
